Skill Level: Advanced. Presenter reserves the right to ask unqualified participants not to attempt skills beyond their level.

Prerequisites: Ability to tie a suspension worthy gote/box and relatively significant experience or training in suspensions, including some experience in transitions. Solid understanding of rope handling and tension. Bottom should have some advanced suspension and transition experience, and should be able to endure multiple difficult suspensions in a day (see below for additional prerequisites applicable to both workshops).

Participation in the Saturday Intensive MAY help qualify one for all or most required skills if they are on the line.

  • There will be 11 bamboo/rattan hard points available, and will be allocated one per tying couple (class size limited to 11 tying couples). We will provide bamboo; however you may bring your own.

  • Workshop may cover various transition suspension and torsion concepts. This will be a fast-paced and challenging workshop; therefore participants will be asked to proceed at their proper and safe pace. It is anticipated that not every couple will be able to complete each transition concept during class. Workshop subject matter is fluid and will depend on the presenter's assessment of the skill level of the participants (both tops and bottoms).
